QUALIFICATIONS

Julien is a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Eco-Fi 1996), Panthéon-Assas University (Master’s in Business and Tax Law) and Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Master of Advanced Study in Business and Company Law).

EXPERTISE

Julien advises CEOs and senior managers, investment funds and shareholders on their equity transactions. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions and private equity (SMID caps).
He has developed strong expertise in fundraising on behalf of entrepreneurs, investment funds and corporate venture players.
He advises executives on issues of external growth, governance and liability, and assists groups of companies in their external growth and restructuring operations.


Julien also advises on acquisition financing (senior and mezzanine) on behalf of borrowers and has developed a sectoral expertise in FinTech, AgriTech, Utilities and franchising (particularly in the real estate sector).


Julien co-founded CHAPTER (formerly PROFFIT CHANTRIER) with Ingrid Chantrier, a firm dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs and investors with their capital transactions and litigation strategy.


Julien previously developed his practice at Shearman & Sterling LLP and De Pardieu Brocas Maffei. He was also the general secretary of an asset management company of the La Poste group.
